A few non-math things about me.
My wife and I got married in Hawaii in 2016!
I try to swim when I can - this is a picture of the only time I will swim the 200 fly.
Hockey is the best sport to watch live! I was a season ticket holder of the Anaheim Ducks for four years.
I also play baseball! I have been a fan of the New York Mets since 1999.
I have been playing DFS (daily fantasy sports) since 2014, which combines three of my favorite things - math, sports, and gambling. This is the $15 lineup that won me $50,000, which is my biggest win to date.
There is an introsem, titled Probability and Gambling (Math 77Q), that I created and hope to teach it once a year. It is a probability class that will discuss games of chance and daily fantasy sports!
The introsem was a huge success in its first offering and was featured on the front page of the Stanford Daily.
